1. Gather Info
Before we start quoting or building anything, I need to get a little more acquainted with you and your business. A well-built website starts with a solid foundation, and getting it right the first time is how we manage to deliver such a reasonable price. Any content that is to be used for the website should provided at this time.
2. Build First Page
We can usually build a working homepage model of your website within the 1st week we receive content. This will give you a good idea of the design choices we’ve made and you can decide if you want to commit to the project. If you do, half of the project cost will be due at this stage, with the final portion at launch.
3. Build Remaining Pages
After your approval of the homepage and the 50% deposit, we can get started immediately. We will work on new pages based on an similar design from the homepage. If extra functionality has been requested, there may be a little back and forth here between us to make sure those systems are working correctly.
4. Review Website
When the website is completed and ready to launch, you will receive an invite to review the entire website. Although we test everything thoroughly, it is always a good idea to comb through the website and make sure all content, placement, photography, and forms are in the right place. If any major changes are required, this is the time to do it. Minor items can altered at a later time very easily if you are worried about launching too early.
5. Go Live
When the full review has been completed, simply let me know by email that you’re ready to go. The remaining 50% budget cost will also be due at this time. As soon as payment is received, we can launch the website within 24 hours. If you have a particular deadline to adhere to, simply keep this in mind when making your decision.
